This Privacy Policy explains how WebStar ("WebStar", "we", "our", or "us") handles information when you use WebStar's websites and its family of Chrome extensions — collectively, our data exporters and image/video downloaders for supported websites (each an "extension"; together, the "services"). It applies to all of our extensions unless a specific extension provides its own separate notice. The exact fields and data involved vary by extension, by the supported website you are using, and by the specific actions you choose to run.

1. Information We Process and Collect

We process only the information needed to provide the export and download features you request and to operate, secure, and support the services. By category:

• Web page content you ask us to process: When you use an extension on a supported website and choose an action, the extension reads the page content (such as the listings, products, or page sections you select) in your browser in order to detect and export the items you want. This processing happens locally.
• Structured data fields: For data exporter extensions, this may include property, listing, agent, broker, merchant, product, and related fields (such as titles, prices, addresses, and other attributes visible on the page) for the items you select. The exact fields vary by extension, website, and the actions you choose.
• Image, video, and other media URLs and metadata: For media downloader extensions, this includes the media URLs and associated metadata (such as titles, captions, alt text, sizes, and source locations) for the images, videos, or other media you choose to download.
• Export and download files: Structured data may be assembled into files you export (such as CSV, XLSX, or JSON), and media may be assembled into download files. These files are generated in your browser and saved to your device when you choose to download them.

These page-content, structured-data, media, and export/download categories are processed locally in your browser. Through normal use we do not upload the page content, structured data, media files, or export/download files you produce to our servers.

User-initiated vs. automatically generated data: The page content, structured data, media, and export/download data described above is collected only when you actively choose to run an action on a supported website page that you are visiting. Other data is automatically generated as a limited byproduct of using the extension — for example technical task status (whether a request succeeded or failed, success/error codes, page/task progress, and rate-limit pacing state) and your account/session/license status. These automatic data points are kept local whenever possible and are used only to run, pace, resume, and finish the task you started, or — for account/license status only — to verify your paid access.

What we do not process: We do not collect your browsing history (we only read the supported page you are actively exporting from), saved passwords or other credentials, full payment card numbers (payments are processed and stored by the payment provider shown at checkout, not by us), private chats or private messages, text or form input you have not chosen to export, or other content on pages you are not actively using the extension on. We do not collect health, financial-account, or other special-category sensitive personal data, and we do not intentionally derive or collect additional personal data about you beyond the Google login, account, license, and user-initiated export/download data described in this policy.

2. Account, License, and Subscription Information

• Google sign-in: If you sign in with Google, the extension requests a Google OAuth 2.0 access token using the openid, email, and profile scopes and retrieves basic profile information from Google, primarily your Google account email address and a Google account identifier.
• Account identifier, email, session, and plan: To authenticate you and verify paid feature access, your email address and account identifier are sent to our account and subscription service and used to manage your account, plan, session, subscription status, and license limits (such as free vs. paid export volume).
• Payment and subscription information: Payments are processed for WebStar by the payment provider shown at checkout. We do not store full credit card numbers. We may store limited records such as purchase status, plan type, subscription status, and transaction identifiers to verify access to paid features.
• Support communications: If you contact us, we may receive your email address and message content so we can respond.

When you sign in, account authentication and license/plan verification are handled through our account service at https://api.webstarue.com/v1/user/login and related account endpoints. We do not use this information for advertising or personalized advertising.

3. Local Storage of Settings, Tasks, and Data

To let you pause, resume, preview, and export your work, the extensions may store settings, account session data, task state, and captured rows locally in your browser using Chrome storage (chrome.storage.local and chrome.storage.sync) and a local browser database (IndexedDB). This local data stays on your device.

4. Verification, Error, and Diagnostic Status

To confirm that a feature is working and to help resolve problems, the extensions may track verification, error, and diagnostic status information, such as whether authentication succeeded, whether a task completed or failed, and error or status codes related to the action you ran. Where this status relates to your account or a server-side verification, a minimal account identifier or status may be sent to our account service to complete the check; otherwise this status is handled locally.

5. How Your Exported Data Is Processed and Stored

The web content, structured data, and media you choose to process is captured and processed locally in your browser, previewed locally, and exported or downloaded by you into files generated on your own device. Through normal use we do not transmit, receive, or store your exported page content, structured data, media files, or download files on our servers.

6. Local Downloads and Exports

When you export data or download images, videos, or other media, the resulting files (such as CSV, Excel XLSX, JSON, and image or video files) are generated in your browser and saved on your own computer. These downloads are written to your device and are not uploaded to or stored on our servers.

7. How We Handle and Use Information

We use information to:

• operate our websites and Chrome extensions;
• process the export and download actions you request on supported websites;
• authenticate users with Google sign-in and verify subscription and license access;
• process purchases and subscription status through the payment provider shown at checkout;
• store settings and task state locally so you can pause, resume, and preview your work;
• provide support and respond to questions;
• maintain security, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot errors;
• comply with legal obligations.

8. Server-Stored Data and Retention

We handle account information, such as your email address and Google account identifier, only for account access, license verification, paid feature access, support, security, and legal compliance. We store account information on our account/subscription service only as long as needed to provide the services, verify paid access, provide support, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements — generally for the period your account and any active subscription exist, and afterwards only as required by law or for legitimate business needs such as billing and dispute resolution. You may request deletion of your account data as described below.

Your exported page content, structured data, media files, and download files are processed locally and are not stored on our servers through normal use.

9. Information Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell personal information. We do not use your email address or account identifier for advertising or personalized advertising, and we do not share your exported page content, structured data, media, or download files with anyone. We share limited information only when necessary:

• Google LLC: to provide Google sign-in (OAuth token, email, profile) and to sync extension data through chrome.storage.sync using your Google account. Google's use is governed by Google's own privacy policy.
• Our account/subscription service (api.webstarue.com): to authenticate you and manage your plan and license.
• Payment and infrastructure providers: the payment provider shown at checkout, and the hosting, infrastructure, and support providers we actually use to operate, secure, and support the services, may process limited account, subscription, or technical information needed to do so. We share only the minimum necessary information.
• Business transfers: if WebStar is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, user information may be transferred as part of that transaction subject to applicable privacy protections.
• Legal requirements: we may disclose information if required by law, or to protect our rights, users, or services.

10. Permissions We Use

Our extensions request permissions only to provide their features:

• identity: to sign you in with Google.
• storage: to save your settings, account session, and task progress locally on your device.
• downloads: to let you save exported CSV/XLSX/JSON files and downloaded media to your device.
• tabs / activeTab: to find and manage the supported website tab you are exporting from.
• Host permissions for api.webstarue.com: to authenticate your account and verify your license.
• Host permissions for the supported websites: to read the page content, structured data, and media on the website you are browsing when you choose an export or download action.

11. Chrome Web Store Limited Use Disclosure

WebStar's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs for our extensions will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use Chrome extension permissions only to provide and improve user-facing features such as authentication, local settings, subscription verification, data export, and media download. We do not use Chrome extension user data for advertising, sell it to third parties, or transfer it for unrelated purposes.

12. Your Choices and Control

• Sign out: you can sign out of your account in the extension at any time to stop account-based features. Signing out clears your locally stored account session data.
• Clear local data: you can reset or clear extension data (captured rows, settings, task state, and local databases) in the extension, or clear site/extension data from Chrome settings. Removing the extension from Chrome also deletes its locally stored data.
• Delete your account: to request deletion of account data stored on our subscription service, contact us using the details below.
• Revoke Google access: you can revoke the extension's access to your Google account at any time from your Google Account security settings.
• Access, correction, deletion: you can contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of personal information where applicable.

13. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect information. Your account session is stored locally, and exported page content, structured data, and media files never leave your device through normal use. Retention of account and subscription records is limited to what is needed to provide the services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.

14. Children

Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

15. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will post the updated policy and update the "Last Updated" date on this page.
